What is permanent makeup?
It is a cosmetic tattooing technique done to parts of the face to enhance the colors of eyebrows, lips and eyes. When done properly, it creates a very natural look and reduces the need for makeup.
What is Microblading?
It is a form of semi-permanent makeup done to the eyebrows, also known as 3D brows. Using a manual blade made up of 14 to 18 micro needles, pigments are etched into the top layer of the skin. Pigments are available in different shades to match each client..
Who should get microblading?
Anyone over the age of 18 who wants to enhance the shape of their eyebrows. Those who have over tweezed or thinning brows and need the added confidence that comes with fuller natural looking brows are perfect candidates. Also those who have lost their brows due to alopecia, cancer or any other reason can consider microblading.
What is the difference between microblading, nano brows, and powder brows?
Microblading creates fine, hair-like strokes to add natural-looking shape and fullness. Nano brows also create hair-like strokes, but they are performed with a machine for added precision. Powder brows use soft shading to create a fuller, more defined makeup-like effect. Your artist can help determine which technique is best for you.
What is lip blush?
Lip blush is a permanent makeup service designed to enhance your natural lip color and definition. The pigment is customized to create a soft, refreshed appearance rather than the look of traditional lipstick.
How long does microblading last?
Unfortunately pigments fade as microblading only etches the top layer of the skin. With proper care and a touch-up session 4-8 weeks after the initial procedure, it can last anywhere between 1-3 years. This depends on how oily each individual client’s skin is, health and maintenance. Touch up sessions every 12-18 months are suggested to keep the eyebrows constantly looking full.
Does microblading hurt?
There may be mild discomfort depending on the sensitivity of each client. Topical numbing cream is applied to the area to minimize any pain.
How long does a microblading procedure take?
It takes up to 3 hours. This includes the consultation, discussion of pertinent medical history, applying of the numbing cream and the microblading procedure itself.

If price and availability are key factors in your decision, here’s how we structure our team:
- Master Artists: 3+ years of experience. Appointments for treatments are typically booked 8–10 weeks in advance (though we maintain a cancellation list in case earlier spots open up!). Consultations are usually available within 1–2 weeks.
- Veteran Artists: 1–2 years of experience. Appointments for treatments are generally available within 2–3 weeks and are priced slightly lower than our Master Artists.
- Pro Artists: Less than 1 year of experience. Pro Artists are priced lower than Veteran Artists and offer a great option for clients looking for earlier availability.
No matter who you choose, you’re in expert hands!
How long does healing take?
Healing varies by person and service. Your artist will explain what to expect during the healing process and provide instructions for caring for the treated area.
Can I wear makeup after my permanent makeup appointment?
You should follow the aftercare instructions provided by your artist and avoid applying products directly to the treatment area until you are advised that it is appropriate.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A deposit may be required to reserve certain appointments. The amount and terms depend on the type of appointment or service being scheduled. Consult deposits will be refunded once your appoitment is complete.
What is your cancellation policy?
Rouge Beauty requires at least 48 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Late cancellations, no-shows, and significantly late arrivals may result in the loss of your deposit and additional booking requirements.
